Domesticated beasts of burden that originated in the southwestern regions of the Continent. Aside from farming uses, Coolias also serve as excellent mounts for ground travel. Even though they are gentle in nature, their constitution is good enough that they can cross vast deserts with relative ease.
Baturn are usually found in vast grassy plains or deserts. It is believed that they belong to the same subspecies as Coolia, but they are wild by nature and all attempts to domesticate them have failed miserably. It has become a sort of tradition for Imperial officers to decorate their homes with trophies taken from Baturn hunting trips.
