GUIDELINES FOR THIS PLAY-BY-POST GAME:

1. Posting Schedule: players should post at a minimum of once every day, more if possible. I do understand the difficulties of posting more than once every day or two, and this can be complicated by time zones, so I ask that everyone try to be courteous and patient. I will be online every day and will check and respond to anyone who has performed an action or asked a question.

2. If a player misses the posting deadline, the game will go on and that person will be skipped. If this happens in the middle of combat, the GM will take the player’s turn for them. If it happens during a role-playing or decision making point, then that PC is assumed to remain quiet and assent to whatever decision the other PCs have come to.

3. If a player knows they are going to be out of internet range for an extended period, they should post this in the OOC thread. It is strongly recommended that they ask another player to play as their character in the interim.

4. This should go without saying in this group, but please be respectful towards your fellow players and the DM.

Background: The Foehunter Clan have existed for millenia. Their mission is to hunt down the enemies of the Dwarven race and end their threat.

Grunn's family have been a part of the Clan almost since the beginning, and Grunn has been taught the ancient ways by his father Grunyar, and his grandfather Gruntor. He has soaked in the ancient lore, learned the fighting techniques, and devoutly intones the prayers to Torag to gain his blessings. All that remains is for him to prove himself worthy by going on a pilgrimage.

To go out and slaughter anything that might be dangerous, and bring back at least two score trophies.

A merchant on the road suggested that if he wanted to find a lot of strange creatures to kill, he should try the Pathfinders. They are reputed to always be getting into dangerous situations. He followed the advice and soon found himself a fledgeling member of the Society.

He has been waiting quite a while now, and he is getting restless. He needs to finish his quest gain the sacred mark of his clan and join his family in the hunt.

He will not wait much longer.

I'm going to be traveling from 6/19-6/24. In theory, I will have internet access in the evenings, at least, but how often I will have the opportunity to avail myself of it remains to be seen.

I have viewings and a funeral to attend the next two days and then I'm leaving for a weeks vacation. I'm not sure what my access will be like so postings may be infrequent. If need be feel free to run Torbril in combat. He just likes to try and cut things in half with his scythe.

I'm back from vacation tomorrow, so should have more time to figure out what I want to do with Cambria. It'll just be a cold-weather outfit plus a weapon or armor upgrade, I think.

I hate it as well. It seems that we are starting to lose features as well - before, the dieroller would fill with my previous text and roll, but it no longer does this.
