The kraut reinforcement doesn't hesitate a second: they take position and and shoot at you with their Gewehr 43.

+ Nazi 1 moves to P7 and shoots at Lenny
Shooting 1d6rr = (6(+ 1)) = 7
Damage 2d8rr = (5 + 2) = 7

+ Nazi 7 moves to M8 and shoots at Rhys
Shooting 1d6rr = (3) = 3
Damage 2d8rr = (6 + 5) = 11

+ Nazi 5 moves to C10 and shoots at Hoot
Shooting 1d6rr = (6(+ 2)) = 8
Damage 2d8rr = (1 + 2) = 3

+ Nazi 10 moves to G11 and shoots at Redneck
Shooting 1d6rr = (6(+ 4)) = 10
damage 2d8rr = (2 + 5) = 7
damage raised 1d6rr = (5) = 5

+ Nazi 9 moves to H9 and shoots at Reeve
Shooting 1d6rr = (3) = 3
Damage 2d8rr = (5 + 2) = 7

+ Nazi 8 moves to I11 and shields his sergeant.


You're caught under a lethal volley fire, hitting Lenny & Hoot and seriously wounding Sgt Redneck.
Reeve and Rhys are left unscathed.

Lenny Hoot & Redneck are 'shaken', and Redneck takes 1 wounds as he was already 'shaken' during his turn.
Wounds cause as many movement and skill penalties as their numbers. Here, Redneck gets a -1 penalty.

Don't also forget that Bennies can be used to reroll skills but not damage, and can be used anytime to remove a 'shaken' condition.

Bennies can also be used to make a 'soak roll': roll a Vigor check a success and each raise reduce the number of wounds by one.

Hoot is up, with a Spirit roll first.

Alright this is a success: you remove 1 wound and as you've got no wound left, your 'shaken' status is also removed

As a true freedom fighter and liberating hero, Sgt Redneck stands proud while being shot at, as if he was made of steel, although blood is staining his uniform!

Reeve manages to place a good shot at their enemies, not well enough to kill him on the spot though it allows him to fall back next to his sergeant.

While this skirmish is obviously starting to put a strain on the enemy line, you can all hear the nazi sergeant shout this:

Following the courageous example of his sergeant, Hoot his filled with such sense of bravery that he runs to the nearest enemy not with a rifle in his hands, but with a knife, mind you!

And after a short brawl where that nazi tried to resist, Hoot manages to punch a hole in his heart, blood-staining the proud uniform of the 4th US Infantry Division!

Meanwhile, seeing the fight is lost, the nazi sergeant turns his tail and flees toward the well.

Running 1d6rr = (3) = 3

He ends up in M13.
