Merisel considers that maybe she should have shot the cat when she had the chance. It is odd that it would attack a large group several hours after it has fed. Perhaps it is not quite natural?

As Daggert snorts awake, he gathers his sword just in time to see the big cat slump sideways.

Hmm, I don't suppose anyone has any rope by chance?

Suddenly noticing Celestin's wounds, he pulls out his wand and settles down next to him. Lets give this a try shall we?

Gesturing towards the cuts, both Celestin and Daggert watch as the skin knits back together... mostly...1d8+1 = (2) + 1 = 3

Daggert shrugs, "Well at least it kinda works."

Flinder, I don't suppose I could borrow your rope could I?

Not waiting for an answer, Daggert digs through Flinder's pack and produces 50ft of silk rope. Moving to the cat he begins to securely tie it up.

I'm a bit at a loss here gang. We can't just kill the helpless thing, but we can't just let it go either. And to leave it tied up here would be just as bad as killing it, or worse... Anyone have any suggestions?

Flinder finds the beast to be wholly magical, and definitely of this plane (not summoned).

Meanwhile, Daggert tries to carefully wrap the rope...

The cat's eyes snap open and it immediatley struggles to get free, even as Daggert cannot find any evil in the cat...

Daggert bows his head for a moment, and as he looks up his eyes are watery with emotion. Grimacing, he hefts his longsword twohanded and sends it plunging towards the cat's neck!

Coup De Grace, Auto Critical 1d6+2+1d6+2 = (3) + 2 + (6) + 2 = 13

Should actually be +2 since he's two-handing it. DC23(+2) Fortitude save for the cat to not be killed!
