A tip for anyone submitting an entry, to make life easier for the contest-running-guy (aka me). In your email submission please let me know what RPG this is a supplement for, so I can correctly enter it into the RPGGeek database. Thanks!

Apparently making a supplement for a non existent rpg makes thing difficult for people running contests, so nobody else do that.

( Although i will note not having to check if things were consistent with a real game system or setting made writing it up a breeze )

I'll have a go - no promises (I seem to have problems with motivation at preset).

Focus 1d20 = (19) = 19 Travellers
Theme 1d20 = (19) = 19 Terror
Period 1d20 = (17) = 17 Near Future
Supplement type 1d20 = (12) = 12 Optional rules - ugh no, I'm terrible at rules design. Reroll: 1d20 = (10) = 10 Equipment list.

Generic / Universal would likely be the coat rack to hang it on unless it has a better home.

Sounds to me like Joe needs to finish that RPG, get it entered into the database, then you can add the supplement to it!

If it is a Generic/Universal supplement then link it to the RPG "Generic/Universal". There are a zillion of these in the database.

If it is for a specific RPG but the RPG existed but has not been published, then you can create the RPG entry (as a stub) and link it to the "Unpublished Prototypes" family. With a note 'splaining things as a ''User summary:'' in the RPG description. There are a couple of these in the database.

If it is for a specific RPG that never existed and ain't gonna, then you can create the RPG entry (as a stub) and link it to the "Unpublished RPGs" family, with the note, etc. However, this is more typically used for projects that were announced with fanfare, etc., and entered into the DB and then died - vaporware.

I'm pleased to announce that almost exactly 3 years after I promised Shawn I would make a playable version of þe Specter, I have finally made good on my promise, with a supplement of the game for 1-6 human players (instead of ghosts).

It keeps the 54 cards, and how you define the suits... but with a twist. I'm actually pretty excited to try it out.

I didn't have time to edit your cards though - unique cards for the game will have to be in the next edition.

For a while I was stuck on the idea of using the Enochian language (an occult language "created" by spirits or angels) by John Dee... but I just couldn't find a way to make it work. When I finally got away from that idea, it came together pretty fast.

We're up to four submissions. Yay! That's a pretty decent response. A reminder that we have a little less than two weeks to go. This weekend is a prime opportunity to work on a 24 hour submission.

It's also Star Wars Day this weekend, and if you want to cut an old d6 WEG Star Wars adventure you could submit that. Totally.

I have been asked in the past to let the game author put up the file, so that they can have control over it. So usually I lean on folks to do that, but if they don't put it up then I will. But I don't enforce that until we get ready for voting.

Should be tackling this on Saturday. Still thinking I'm going to do something tied to Beyond Bightwater, though the "system neutral" nature of it makes some elements tricky. I may default to 5e if that integration confounds me enough.

Nope. It's complete and there's an entry in the database. Put it up now!

To put it up you need to just go to the item page and submit it to the Files section.

I'm sorry, I cannot read this site regularly while the intense white background is in effect. I have eye health issues, and this is painful. I'll still make brief visits, largely for trades and rules questions, but my socializing here is done for now
