A lot more redesigning. Removed the cape (it was a distraction), added a white feather to the cap (removed the black one which could not be seen anyway), and re-positioned the saber so it points at the onlooker instead of outside the image.

No particular reason, other than no one seemed to object to moving the filigree in.

Well, that and I want to know whether people like the larger or smaller T. Once that's done, if folks want, I can poll greater or lesser filigree. (And if I do, it'll be with the proper-sized T.)

It has been a couple of days. If the persons voting Needs work have something to say, they should speak up now - otherwise I'm keen on approving these if they get submitted.

My only suggestion for next time, Raymond, is that there could be just one badge in that bunch that someone didn't like while the rest are fine - it would be best to poll them individually in my opinion next time. Then, at least, if one badge got some needs work votes, even if no suggestions are made, you could at least guess at what isnt liked and try something different.

Okay, I just figured I had polled them all individually several times already, and these were the final versions after all the feedback I had already gotten so far, so it was just a "green light" situation. I'll submit them.

I don't require polls, and don't always use them either.

BUT if you post up something with 5 designs in one post and I don't see any thumbs, I'd suggest you make one before submitting for approval. I do monitor the threads to see that people respond to feedback before submitting a badge (although everyone here is such a pro this isn't an issue). And I might kick a badge back if a badge doesn't have any thumbs and ask for a poll. (although of course, Jonna is still overall in charge so she can do whatever she likes also hehe)

So far, though, only veterans seem to be submitting badges - it was my hope that the creation initiative would spark some new microbadge designers into creating something...I'll have to work on that!

I think you misunderstood. You lightened the filigree and added a slight dropshadow as you said, but then you polled an older design against the smaller T. So you have 3 designs, but you only polled 2 after making the third which imo was the best one.

If they aren't already approved, you might want to change some of the white pixels surrounding the green, red and blue one.

There's a steep learning curve to microbadging and maybe therefore people find it a bit intimidating? Would be nice to get some new designers

Well, then I'm a retard. I was juts looking for feedback on the size of the T. I'll ensure I get the proper light filigree and dropshadow when I submit.
