Large chunks of GeekGold will be going out to the well-deserved quartet.

It is difficult to split the results down in great detail due to the nature of the single transferable voting system. This year in particular, voting was very diverse making it impossible to discern much more granularity in the results beyond a couple more places. Here then are the top few positions that are at least partially discernible (with the proviso that these results are not directly meaningful, but rather a rough guide):

1st - A Fantasy Trip
2nd - The Elsewhere Society
3rd - Overlook
4th - Planetfall
5th - Mad Dash for Cash
6th - The Second-Richest Safari

I give congratulations to the winners, and my great respect to everyone that entered (by running this contest, I neatly avoid the very difficult task of actually producing a workable submission).

Please do discuss your thoughts on any of the games. Which aspects did you find were particularly interesting to you? How did the theme of travelling impact what you created and how you voted?

The Geek? Yes, it's a good site. But - ah! You should have seen it before the rebranding! It was legible and a joy to read! All gone now, sadly, and so (mostly) am I because of it ...

I'm sorry, I cannot read this site regularly while the intense white background is in effect. I have eye health issues, and this is painful. I'll still make brief visits, largely for trades and rules questions, but my socializing here is done for now

Congrats to all who entered, especially the winners! Yes, we'll have to ban Maurice I'm afraid ... oh wait, then we wouldn't get to read his games any more.

Wow! Pretty much everything that placed were among my favorites! Usually my favorite is a weird one that no one else seems to go for, but this time around it looks like I'm finally seeing eye-to-eye with the rest of the Geek.

Congrats to everyone who entered, good work! And double congrats to the winners! You definitely deserve it!

And thanks to everyone who voted. That was a lot of reading and rating. And double thanks to everyone who voted for The Elsewhere Society! I definitely appreciate it!

Woot! Congratulations to all the entrants - while the ones listed above were all amongst my favorites, so were many others. It was a really diverse and entertaining set of entries this year, and I really enjoyed reading them.

A huge thanks to everyone who voted - especially those who didn't enter the contest, that was a lot of work to do the reading! - and I'm honored to have made the top three!

Wow, awesome!

Thanks for all the love. Moreso thanks for the kick in the pants to get me writing again.

There were a ton of awesome entries this year. They were all so varied and different. It was incredibly hard to rank them. I had no idea what was going to end up in the top. I see a lot of the games I ranked well did well which is cool to see The Geek on the same page.

If anyone actually tries the game out, please let me know how it goes. I realize it badly needs an edit (especially that first intro page that somehow got cut off) but I think the system should all make sense At least it did when I submitted it.

Thanks
