lol, Yohann!

Glad to hear you liked Kenichi too. My husband watches so much after I go to bed that I miss most of the anime he watches.

Carrie - I know I've said it before, but you're so awesomely talented!

So I saw this earlier as I was running out the door and thought "oh cool, Sarah's set up a chat in the tavern! Have to pop in there and say hi soon". And then I come back and see 50+ new posts

So yeah, yay for the Tavern general discussion!

Sounds like you and Leonie are having fun, Jonna! Looks like you're busy (but in a good way) Yohan. And Carrie, I didn't know you did freelance stuff like that. Awesome!

I only heard about this game a wee bit ago and it sounds interesting though I'm not entirely sure how it would play out. I was considering treating myself to it as a late birthday present though. Have you played it already? If so would you recommend it?

God bless,

Thanks Yohann, weekend cannot be soon enough. My wife and I have a babysitter and are going out for a date/dinner on Sat night...first time in a year since my daughter was born.

Speaking of Game of Thrones....I have never seen it....ok 1,2,3...commence discussion.

The only game I played was GMed by Robin D. Laws himself, three months ago.

Hillfolk is actually everything I enjoy in roleplaying games: narrative scenes among players with both a dramatic and procedural spin to the game, the players share creative authority with the GM, no dice but a token economy.

Basically, this game just rocks. My only concern is the players I'll have at my table. They're not a regular group (I haven't had a regular group for a decade at least) and I'm not sure they'll be game.

I really need to make sure I pitch the game right before they apply.

Sounds like fun. It's definitely jumping up my want list now, thanks! And I hope you're game goes great even if the players aren't who you usually play with. (Also, so jealous! How did you manage to get in a game with the man himself?)

God bless,

Nor I, but I read the first book. Wasn't nearly as good as I had been lead to believe it would be. I might read the final book if/when it comes out to see if I predicted everything correctly.
