What's a Vocabyrinth you ask?

I'm glad of that because I think it might be a new kind of puzzle. You get a picture of a maze (in this case an old school dungeon map) and a list of words. You use the words to navigate the passages.

This one is just for fun and to gauge interest; it could become a recurring feature.

The first three five (thanks Dave!) to send me a solution (let's call it the first and last two words on the way to the fountain, so four words total) will get Champions badges and be eligible for prize support; the next 10 will get .

You can download it here: The Vocabyrinth

If you have any questions, drop me a line and I'll try to answer them.

Frequently Asked Questions
No words are used inside the confines of a room.
Despite logic, the word from room 1 to room 2 is written from 2 to 1. It just looked too weird to write it backward.
Words on the list are used only once and all are used if you explore the whole dungeon.

Reminder: Geekmail me the answers, don't post them below!

Thanks. Some credit is due Dave. I have another version which is more of a labyrinth but Dave suggested "old school dungeon map". I really think this could be a fun new kind of puzzle, but we'll see.

We've had 5 solutions which exhausts our supply of Champions badges.

The next 10 winners will each get 8 , enough to buy a different microbadge.

Really cool puzzle! I love the idea and it was fun to solve. The blue graph grid was a nice touch.

I'd love to try the vocabyrinth - but I'd like to see a grid with a start square delineated as well as the passage between areas. Honestly, I'm not motivated to try it because I looked at the grid and as far as I can tell, I need to exit the area behind the secret door using the same letter as that which I used to enter it...but where does 4 stop and 5 begin? 5 and 6 can be accessed from 4...is it a no-man's land of corridors? Where are the doors referred to 3x during the rules explanation? There's only 1 door - and it's a secret door.

Excellent idea - tighten it up and it will rock. Congratulations to the 5+ people who solved this, that's some heavy lifting!
