The Far North of Aventuria: longing and terror, empty ranges and ice-covered plains. Legendary treasures are said to be hidden for thousands of years, and time and again people travel to the inhospitable region to to retrieve these treasures. But many horrors lurk under the snow, and one can only rely on one's own abilities in this hostile region.
Nevertheless, people have also taken permanently feet here: the Nivesen travel with their Karen herds and are considered one of the oldest people of Aventuria, the barbaric Fjarninger live here and last but not least settlers from the Middle Empire, who thrivw on coastal trade of the cities of Riva and Paavi. But other races than men live here: the snow elves (Firnelfen) have built their glistening Ice Palace here, the Shurachai-Orcs found its home in the mountains of the Eiszinnen and the Yetis built their villages not only on the island named after them. Then there are the savage dwarfs, which are said to derive from the lost tribe of Aboralm, teh Blue Mahre live in the Mountain range of the Ehernes Schwert, and the black armed Shakagra live in towns under the ice of the Northern Sea.
This Book presents the landscape and settlements of the Aventurian far north, the tundra and taiga of Nivesen, the Duchy of Paavi, the mountains and coastlines of the region and the eternal ice and the horrors that still lurk in the former kingdom of the Ice Witch Glorana.
