City of Tashal details the second-largest city on the island of Harn. The city is divided into neighborhoods, from the castle to the temple district to the merchants' quarter to some pretty rough precincts.
There are many opportunities for intrigue, and planty of ways for the GM to work the PCs deeper and deeper into trouble.
For one example, Galopea's Feast is an inn that is used as a sort of exclusive private club/frat house by local noblemen, whose many desires are well met by the local "thieves' guild". Sometimes the guild needs some help... well, you know how it goes.
Another example is the home of Lady Cheselyne Elendsa, sister to the king. While somewhat frozen out of the court, she hosts the parties that set the tone for the nobility thoughout the kingdom. Wrangling an invitation to one of Lady Cheslyne's infamous parties is only the start of the adventure. And wait until you meet her charming daughter!
Tashal is within the Kingdom of Kaldor, a feudal kingdom described elsewhere on this site.
