Journey: a rules-light, any setting RPG
From the Introduction:
Journey is a tabletop role-playing game designed to be played in any setting. If you don’t know what a tabletop role-playing game is, you probably have abs, and were cool in school. These rules are designed to be hacked and changed to make them suit your game, so don’t feel like you have to treat it as gospel.
This game is not specific to any world, setting or even genre, but designed to be able to be played in any world, setting or realm. You could play a space captain in the near future, or a hardy warrior in a fantasy realm, a pulpy explorer fighting off Nazi mutant zombies or even a 19th century princess dealing with the nuances of court life.
In other words, you can do and play whatever the hell you want, and the rules get out of the way to let you do it. While there is a structure and system in place, you and your group can hack and slash these rules to fit your needs and wants.
