From the challenge web page:
What is the [#Threeforged Challenge]?
It's an RPG design challenge where you complete each other's games.
How does it work?
It has three stages, which are entirely anonymous.
In the first stage you submit a 700-1100 word RPG. Maybe it's playable, but likely it's not. What you're trying to do with your submission is give the next designer a core they can take forward.
In the second stage I randomly reassign the submissions back to everyone, and you have roughly twelve days to increase them. You can change or delete whatever you want, as long as you keep what you believe are the important conceits of the game, and end up with an increased word-count in the target range.
Then in the third stage I randomly reassign the stage two games, again making sure no one gets one they submitted in stage one or worked on in stage two, and you work up the one you get. Like before you can keep, change, delete whatever you want. Your goal is a playable game.
This family links together the two series containing games for the challenge. The complete games (all three stages) are enumerated in one series; the incomplete games (one or two stages only) are enumerated in another series. We will not add individual games to this family.
