Like most artists, I was introduced to, and fell in love with, art at an early age. I have been developing my technical and creative skills throughout most of my life. I served for a time in the Army, and after went on to get my BFA from Miami University. Several years later I also received my MFA from Miami. Professionally my artwork has been shown both nationally and internationally, with my works in both public and private collections. I have helped create animal exhibits for the Cincinnati Zoo, worked as an artist in a custom steel works shop, and spent 10 years as an assistant preparator at an art museum.
I love the experiences of life, and In my wanderings I have been fortunate enough to walk on the Great Wall of China, travel by horseback with nomads through the mountains of Mongolia, and to develop friendships with many great artists and thinkers throughout the world.
Each step along the way has added depth and a myriad of perspectives to my work. I look forward to each new endeavor and I am always excited to see how it will shape the outcome of my next project.
