From website:
I was born into the socialist sytem of Eastern Germany in the early eighties. While I was growing up, the Iron Curtain became less important and Thuringia a free province. My childhood was influenced by a mixture of the "old world values" and a new upcoming "American-dream-world".
In that time, I started to draw. At first, I drew what I was seeing in my environment, similar to every other visual artist in his first steps. Later I used my early gained achievements in drawing and painting to entertain my fellow students by caricaturing our teachers and classmates.
So I have found my great passion in an autodidactic way, which kept me busy for a long period of time. In my youth I have been affected by the consumption of science fiction- and horror books and movies, all kinds of music akin to the Doors, Marilyn Manson, Nirvana and Joy Division; and not to forget by the artworks of Salvador Dalí, H.R. Giger and Hieronymus Bosch.
I am currently studying "Visual Communication" at the Bauhaus University Weimar and I am also still in the long-term process of self-discovery, which maintains my motivation to improve my skills and my knowledge in any field of visualization.
Do not hesitate to have a look! I would be very glad to show you more of my works.
Thank you for your interest.
