The Pasts, Personas & Prophecies (P3) Core Rulebook provides everything needed to participate in a rules light game system for player and game master alike.
The games core dice mechanics allow for the use of any type of dice available to the play group, be them six-sided, twenty-sided, or a pocket full of two-sided coins. Storytelling responsibilities are shared between both the players and Game Master with the use of fast single action turns and a narratively rich Boon and Despair system which adds flavor to every dice roll.
Magic usage is evocative and easy to handle at the table with the absence of large spell lists. Instead, spell casting is handled with a fluid and fun magic system which allows spontaneous creativity.
Diceless rules for the Game Master remove the distraction of dice rolling and allow them to focus on running the game and the changing narrative at hand.
