Aokigahara is about a Japanese family laying a tent in the suicide forest of Aokigahara. In a hunt for the truth about their lives, their souls are on an dark journey towards the Shadow, a being living in the heart of the forest, to find out if they are alive or dead. The scenario is gloomy and heavy, but holds the possibility that in the midst of all the sorrow, the family can find faith in life.
