Resident Evil 5 is a third person shooter survival horror game; it is the seventh release in the main Resident Evil series. Players can take on the role of either Chris Redfield or Sheva Alomar as they fight their way through the zombie-like Majini and try to stop the bio-terrorist threat in Kijuju, Africa. The game may be played co-operatively either locally or on-line.

DLC has been released which adds a 4 person on-line multiplayer modes where players fight each other as well as the Majini in team or free-for-all scenarios.
