Re: Pbf The Penthouse
Here too. We have a possible fifth player, who responded Fiasco - Penthouse here as well. Before we start I would like to know how you feel about adding a fifth player. It will take more time and more scenes. Probably we should play more npc's as well to keep us all into the game.

Re: Pbf The Penthouse
Majority seems in favour so we are with 5 now. We will start like in Touring Rock Band: FIASCO Table #3, Where Hogzilla Is BBQ:
"to start the game, create a pool of dice, 4 for each of us in two different colours. From that, we will begin to build relationships and characters. Remember, Fiasco is about things that are destined to go bad, so let your dark side go nuts and remember not to over-narrate; the story will develop as we go."
White dice 10d6 = (1 + 2 + 3 + 5 + 2 + 1 + 2 + 2 + 2 + 6) = 26 Black dice 10d6 = (6 + 2 + 3 + 1 + 2 + 1 + 5 + 4 + 3 + 1) = 28

Re: Pbf The Penthouse
Start with the player who grew up in the smallest town and then take turns, building the web of information in rotation.
Turn order next. I grew up in Spijkenisse which has a population of around 70,000.

Sorry, but are we saying where we're really from or where our characters are from? I haven't had a chance to read through much of the ruleset yet.

Re: Pbf The Penthouse
I grew up outside of a town called Basin City in Washington State. The town had about 300 people in it, one paved street and a blinking yellow light at the only intersection.

FYI - I'm in China so sometimes my posting schedule is a bit goofy. I'm generally in BGG at least once per day though (who am I kidding, sometimes ALL DAY)

Re: Pbf The Penthouse
So, I'm flanked by Rishi and George, and I have no relationship with Jeff and Matt. I can only share relationships, etc. with the people on either side of me but I can assign a relationship (or whatever) to any two adjacent people.
Matt's character 1. Relationship: ? - ? 2.? Jeff's character 1. Relationship: ? - ? 2.? Rishi's character 1. Relationship: ? - ? 2.? Leonie's character 1. Relationship: ?-? 2.? George's character 1. Relationship: ?-? 2.?
Matt, you are up first picking a category.
In a 5 player play we must have at least one Object, Need, and Location. In a five player game the game suggests adding another need and another location or object.

Re: Pbf The Penthouse
Thanks, Jeff, but I was already home when you posted and just downloaded it myself.

There's some really fun locations "Above" so I will take a 1 and place that location between me and Leonie.
Quote: Matt's character 1. Relationship: Crime - ? 2.? Jeff's character 1. Relationship: Money - ? 2.? Rishi's character 1. Relationship: ? - ? 2. Location Above Leonie's character 1. Relationship: ?-? 2.? George's character 1. Relationship: ?-? 2.? Matt's character Remaining dice:

Re: Pbf The Penthouse
Yeah, I'm sorry, I'm not sure what exactly to do. I haven't yet had a chance to read the core rulebook and from looking through the play book for this game I'm not sure what I should pick. If I'm slowing things down too much you can drop me. I don't want to ruin anyone's enjoyment or slow things down.
