I just learned from Sikeospi's awesome geeklist that Jean Wells died on Jan 25th.

R.I.P. Jean Wells.

I have often wondered if the RPG industry would have been more female friendly if Jean hadn't been treated so poorly by TSR and then pushed out of the industry. Her treatment soured her so much that she was a bit embittered and never became a life-long gamer. Too bad - I think she would have done great things.

The last I heard of her was an interview on the Save or Die Podcast from Sept 2010 (HERE is a LINK to the interview)

That's the bad part on the life's contract, the important is to enjoy the life and to let a good legacy and memories in our nearby people.

Jean did it in the RPG world and will be remembered, the only way of inmortality to humans. My condolences to the family and friends
