A housewarming party session
Our group has travelled of to the Caves of Chaos. There are some nasty monsters over there that had ruined our barbecue so they could have themselves the largest and best barbecue. {(yeah right! We got off to a strange start already. The caves are situated in a lovely valley. We can see about 10 different entrances. Instead of entering one of the caves And behind number 1..... our Bard decides to sing a provoking song to see what will happen. From the forest above the caves about 8 small kobolds appear with spears. Our Bard can do some magic too and he uses a spell to make us invisible to the kobolds. He also throws a rock between them with the inscription "singing stone". Yamyra slices one of them through halfway. The kobolds are dazzled. They look at the singing stone that doesn't sing and while one of them falls down they are still clueless. They put up a defensive posture. Myrgard uses his crossbow and later his axe, Solumoom is casting magic missiles and our bard and Yamyra make haste killing off the last two of them.
At this point we were getting to have some fun with our GM. Instead of entering one of the caves we decide to enter the forest. Searching for tracks from where the kobolds must have come. Once we find the tracks they lead to a couple of trees they have been hiding behind. The bard investigates the tree and walks around it 7 times. The tree doesn't fall down however. We move deeper into the forest. The forest isn't too big and we are almost at the other side of it when we see another cave. The hill wall, in which the cave stands, is filled with skulls. Not only human skulls, also elven and dwarven skulls. All are in different stages of corruption. One skull seems to be from an Orc. It's eyes keep following us. Eerie! Our Bard takes a few steps forward and stabs his fingers in the eyes of those eyes. The skull screams ouch and disappears in a hole. Our Bard shouts sorry after him but we doubt it is appreciated.
Solumoom creates an orb of light and it floats through the hole, following where the Orc skull has disappeared. Peering into the hole, our Bard can see some Orcs talking to each other, they do not seem to be happy. Suddenly a spear flies towards him and it cuts him deep in his nose. The orb floats towards the Orcs who do not seem to like it, they walk away from it through a door further away. In the room are some shabby clothes. Yamyra puts up a little trap at the entrance of the cave by having a wire across the entrance over which unexpected people could trip. The Bard raises his voice once more in a provoking song. Solumoom and Myrgard take positions above the entrance in order to throw heavy rocks on top anyone coming out. In total 4 Orcs are rushing towards us from the entrance but they aren't too bright. They topple on each other while the first was tripped by the wire. A giant rock falls right on top of them, only showing some of their claws emerging from underneath. One minor setback.....that giant rock is also seals our way in.
We decide to destroy the wall of skulls, it seems our only viable way in now. Solumoom can get rid of plenty of skulls and the wall caves in. Again a set of Orcs is rushing towards us, a quick count, probably 6 of them.. Our Bard loves the exercise of his voice, he starts an enthralling song. The first couple of Orcs kill each other because of the song. Another behind them tries to get through (it is a small entrance). Whether climbing over them or trying to go underneath. Yamyra uses her sword and is able to cut his throat and artery. Three down, more to go. Solumoom now produces a big orb of light, almost the size of a skippyball and has it rushing towards the Orcs. they run away as fast as they can. Myrgard shoots an arrow, he is very skilled and is able to take two of them down with only 1 arrow. The spears which can be retrieved are taken by Myrgard as loot. Solumoom uses his axe to slash through the Orcs and spears which are preventing us from following the runaway Orcs.
We move on, find several openings and end up in a room with a big hearth (fire blazing and all), lots of chairs and tables and at the head of the biggest table a huge chair made of bones. Solumoom takes a look at the chair, finds nothing suspicious and sits down. Quite comfortable he thinks. We demolish the entire room. Except for in the hearth. Myrgard and Yamyra (after some persuasion from Myrgard) dismantle the barbecue they had. Ours was destroyed, so we take theirs in return.
Browsing through corridors we end up in front of a locked door. Nothing is heard from behind it. Yamyra uses her tools and picks the lock. It is a storage room with spears, axes, shields and a small box with crossbow and arrows. It is a small sized one, so Yamyra takes it. Myrgard the spears, our Bard the axes and Solumoom the shields. We continue our search, come to another door to find a sleeping chamber with several carpets and tapestry but also a giant Orc in merely chain mail in front of a big bed. In front of the big bed, but behind the Orc are a couple of huge pillows on which two smaller Orcs are asleep. A female and a (probably because of the fun we were making) a transvestite one in golden bikini / mankini. The giant Orc is very awake and holds a big bludgeon with sharp spikes.
The Bard shoots at his face and tries to sing along another enthralling song. An arrow hits his right arm. The two smaller Orcs are awake now as well, but because of the song she attacks the transvestite Orc with a spear, right through his body. Yamyra puts on the one ring, shoots with her newly found crossbow and hits the big Orc again. He drops his bludgeon and she tows it away from him. The Orc is coming towards Myrgard and wants to hit him with his shield but to no avail. Myrgard aims for his legs and is able to cut one off. Our wizard Solumoom throws magic missiles and causes the Orc to finally drop to the floor. He also puts up a magical shield between us and the female Orc. The Bard uses his bow and aims for some delicate parts of the big Orc while singing another enthralling song for the female. He hits the big Orc you screams from agony. The female orc is able to get through the barrier and puts a spear right through the throat of the Orc.
With all of her might, Yamyra starts to throw the bludgeon (much like hammer throwing) and hits her unconscious. A coup de grace is delivered. A lot of loot is found here. After thoroughly discovering the room we find a secret niche with even more loot. Even platinum pieces are among them. The last part we discover was hidden behind one of the tapestries. Behind it was a secret door leading to a room which had in it a bucket filled with black water. It is thrown over the floor but nothing happens. Two little sacks were underneath it. The Bard picks them up but gets bitten by a centipede in his hand. He screams from agony and panics. The centipede is about the size of a small cat. Myrgard tries to kill a second one by stepping on it which luckily works. A magic missile is thrown towards our Bard his hand. It kills the centipede but causes a severe pain in the Bard's hand as well. Might he be poisoned? Luckily not. After retrieving two more gems it's time to head home. Plenty of loot and a good work out.

Great report! What rules system did you use? This was written for used with Basic Dungeons and Dragons back in the day, but it seems like you were using Third Edition or Pathfinder?
