Extended Summary The day arrived for the heroes to take on Armag, traverse the rest of his twisted dungeon, and finally rescue Christopher Walken's eldest daughter. Unfortunately, Sonash managed to wander off somewhere and did not lend his axe in the battles to come. Nonetheless, Kahr, Humar, Noel, and Devin aptly navigated through the front half of the dungeon. Once again they faced the iron golem that sent them fleeing just a few weeks ago. This time they were prepared, however, and made short work the creation. The next hallway led them to no better as they battled through a damp cavern of eight ferocious skeletal warriors. Confusion struck quickly as they passed through the next door. Kahr and Humar found themselves falling forever into darkness, regardless of Humar's Air Walk spell. Noel found himself suddenly alone with an attractive skeleton. Noel unleashed his most compelling pick-up lines, but Devin did not respond positively to Noel's advances. A man sat casually before them in the next embellished room, as if he had been awaiting there arrival. The man gestured with his spear, inviting the heroes to impress him. After a few moments spent by the group in awkward silence, Kahr performed incredible feats of acrobatics by leaping from pillar to pillar. The man nodded and Kahr was allowed to pass. Noel produced a magical harp and played it with such finesse that a single tear rolled down the man's cheek. Devin put his two smartest brain cells together and plunged into the ever-handy portable hole which Noel proceeded to carry through the door. After futilely splashing around in a nearby pool of water, Humar was at a loss. His last resort was to display his rhino-summoning prowess. Seeing this mildly amusing trick, the man reluctantly allowed him to pass. The final battle was before them. An intimidating beast of a man roared and attacked, joined by eight more skeletal warriors. The man, Armag, barreled toward the heroes even before they had a chance to leave the doorway. His skeletal minions filed in behind him blocking access to the room. Kahr nimbly avoided the blockage and proceeded to steal the weapons out of each skeleton's grasp. Humar summoned another rhino behind the enemy front line, but it was quickly dismissed. Armag wielded a powerful sword and focused his blows on Devin, warrior to warrior. Many heavy hits struck down on Devin, but through his own and Humar's healing, he stood his ground. Noel attempted to thin down the skeletal ranks with magical lightning while aiding Devin at his side. Armag grew frustrated with Devin's impossibly stout flesh. His greatsword seemed to almost scream as it was brought down hard on Noel instead. Noel soon collapsed under this enslaught, but his life was secured by Humar's quick healing. Kahr tried his best to maneuver his way next to Armag, but the skeletons blocked his advances. Soon enough, the tides began to shift and Armag's vigor began to dwindle. He fled to safety behind his mob of warriors, but he did not escape death as Noel reached up from the ground to deliver a final lightning strike. Armag fell defeated, along with the loud, clattering collapse of his boney allies. Devin took Armag's weapon in his hand and felt an intense, heatless fire burn up from the handle. Shrugging, he tossed the sword into the ever-handy portable hole. A tomb lie behind the next door with a curious inscription on the casket: "Armag." Inside rest the decrepit body of a man who could have been Armag's twin. They looked behind the casket and were startled to find a grossly disfigured woman's body. With the mass and appearance of a skeleton, her dark eyes bulged from their sockets, her skin drew tight to the bone, and the whole of her form looked a tremor away from total destruction.
