Right. Mateen only decides whether it's good or bad. Everyone else comes up with what the scene is about.

MMh what about something on the line of:
The professors want to know where Malaki's weed came from. The boy's parents told them about his old friendship with the dark figure, who has been suspected i the past of a number of illegal activities, even if he never got condemned for lack of proofs. They decide to try and ambush him near the Owlery. The task force is made by the school hero, James, Professor Dane and Malaki as the bait.

Are you asking about when Mateen decides good or bad? If so, it will be just like the previous scene except that it's Mateen's decision rather than that of the other players.
The person resolving can make that decision at any point during the scene. You can go into a scene knowing that you'd like it to be good or bad or you can see which way it flows and decide later. Once you decide, let us know in the OOC thread and anyone involved in the scene can help you reach that conclusion.
Mateen, do you want to give us some more information about your character in this thread or would you prefer to put it in your starting post?
