Finding it impossible to ignore the stench of the mushrooms, Ezren decides to leave them here and reclaim them later. He fashions a sack from a piece of cloth out of his pack and seals it up with the glue he carries. He then hangs the "sack" on the branch of a nearby tree.
"Whew !"

They are not the Ironbloom Mushrooms which only grow where iron starts to tarnish in dark damp places. Which is why the 'shrooms you're looking for are likely in or around the interior of the Dwarven Monastery - likely in the deepest and darkest places of all!

If you do press on, realize that it is dusk and growing dark. Light may be an issue - though inside where the roof and walls are intact would likely be dark anyway. Only Merisel is equipped, racially, to deal with the low light conditions outside (though even her super sensitive eyes would struggle in a really dark room).

...although a little voice in my head tells me that perhaps we should set up camp. I sometimes forget that I am better able to see in the dark than you folks might be. Best rest up and set out in the morning.
By the way...where's our little fox friend?

Kyra says, "Alright if we are staying the night then I better eat some food and begin preparing. I agree that we need to set up a watch rotation."
Kyra pulls out some of her trail rations and again shares some with the fox. Kyra says, " I haven't forgotten you! I suppose I must have something to call you...I wish you could speak tell me but sinc you can't let me think a moment. You have followed us into dangerous situaions and have even attempted to save me from the Taztlwyrm despite your own fear of the creature...that speaks to courage...a noble courage...a noble spirit..I know...Regal....what do you think of the nme Regal?"
Kyra begins to prepare for tommorrow thinking to herself, "That is to nice of a building to have remained abandoned for long. I imagine that something has takenup residence and it can't be good."

Ezren begins unpacking his bedding and sets up camp a fair distance from the stinking mushrooms.
"You all go ahead and get some rest, I'll take first watch"
Ezren holds a bit of food out to the fox. "Regal, eh ? Well come here little one, and share some food with me as well."
In the morning Ezren will prepare Magic Missle and Burning Hands.

During the night, you hear howling. The fox, who has come close to your camp for the night, is lying low on his belly with ears perked up. Wolves? Worse?! Clearly something nearby ... it is unclear if it is coming from the Monastery or the woods - the echo makes this determination hard. But in the end, you get a reasonably nights rest and wake in the morning. You're a little more tired than usual - the days out here have started to take their toll.
The sun rises - you're ready.

You approach the ruined Monastery - the size is quite daunting. For now, I'll assume you're approaching the front doors (which are knocked down and are lying on the ground). If you wish to approach a different way, let me know. You can just see inside the courtyard - wide open to the sky and so well lit this morning. There is a tower in the southeast corner which is closed off and still reasonably well standing. Other areas to the west and north are interior sections - doors lead into those areas. Some may be lit as there are holes in the roof in some places! Overall, the courtyard is well covered with grass and weeds... in the upper corner is a well.
What would you like to do?

Kyra says, "We should check this area out to see if what every has taken up residence here has left clues to its identity...it looks like there is some kinda round object and bones in across the courtyard. I think we should investigate that as well."

Yoren wrote: ...it looks like there is some kinda round object and bones in across the courtyard. I think we should investigate that as well." That round object is, in fact, a well.
On the closer (southern) wall, there are some small ruined stalls for what looked like might have been a place to tie up horses - probably last used when this place was full of Dwarves and in good repair.

Merisel enters the courtyard and heads over to the well; searching for mushrooms and/or trouble.

dbeman previously rolled 1d20+7 = (6) + 7 = 13 (Perception) The well sits in the northwest corner of the yard, with 10 feet of rope dangling into it. There is water roughly 30 feet down into the well. Lying next to the well is the skeletal remains of a fallen man. The flesh has been picked clean from his bones.

I will approach from the destroyed NE section, so I will walk along the outskirts of the 30 column with my sword drawn.

Kyra moves with Merisiel to the well and investigates the skeletal remains. After searching those, Kyra looks down the well to see whats attached to the rope and for anything else she might see in the well.

"Odd...you don't normally find someone dead so close to a well." Merisel catches herself thinking out loud. "I need to stop doing that."
Merisel will search the bones, the area around the well and take a peek inside the well itself for anything out of the ordinary.
Perception 1d20+7 = (14) + 7 = 21

Ezren perception 1d20+3 = (16) + 3 = 19
Edit : added roll
