Code Name: The Kelvin Hammer
Real Name: Kelvin Ciro
Primary Power Focus: Cold and Darkness Secondary Powers: Duplication, Regeneration, Immortality, Power Reserve
Kelvin Ciro was a hero. A hero SWAT officer in Louisiana about the time that Cyborg was attempting to unite the world's superheroes in a worldwide effort against the oncoming war between the Amazonians and Atlanteans. One of the major marking points of the failure of Cyborg's campaign was a terrorist bomb attack against the refugee center in Louisiana that was responsible for Kelvin's death and remembrance in law enforcement circles as a poster boy for heroic behavior by the Police. Kelvin was able to save every one at the refugee center that cold day in September, but the bomb's radiation from lack of proper casings had poisoned the cellular structure of Kelvin's body beyond repair. Or so he thought. As Kelvin lay on his death bed, the government came in disguise as the donor program people tied in with the hospital and had Kelvin sign the rights to his DNR orders and body away to the government - they now owned him right down to his very DNA, and in repayment for his heroic service in life, they would stave off his death. Shortly after these papers were signed, Kelvin slipped into a coma at the hospital. The LEO's that remember his valiant sacrifice still honor his memory at the department by having a special branch of the SWAT team personnel devoted to support for families who have lost loved ones in the line of duty. The 10,000 lives that Kelvin saved that day at the refugee camp are a good reminder to the families of why they loved that person so much after they are gone - but most of them, including the officers, don't know... He's not gone... he's just grown colder... and maybe a little darker.
Additional Story Points or Framework: Kelvin has had extensive cryo-surgery and through the use of cryogene nanobots some of his body parts have been entirely replaced due to the need to replace some cells entirely from the progression of the radiation damage from the bomb. His right arm, most of his right leg and his liver and heart are all completely made of ice and as such can suffer deteriorating conditions if subjected to high heat environments for too long with no shielding. (-2?)
Kelvin will be remembered once the government decides to re-release him to the public. As such, he will be treated like a fallen hero where ever he goes as well as receive a modicum of special treatment from the former law enforcement departments and charity organizations. His service to the government at present will cause that respect to extend to military and para-military groups as well. (+2?)

As a side note, Irishman, I would like to dump any points left into a rigged costume. The ads/disads and drawbacks for the most part will just even out. The exceptions to that rule will only serve to lessen point costs in ranks to pay for other effects on the powers list. Or something. lol

Im not sure I understand what your asking for, could you give more data?
And Kelvin Hammer... im working through your Charsheet now. Some of your Attack and Def is not up to speed, ie you are UNDER powered for a PL10 character.
Im working on an tweaked version now. And if anyone can save you some points here and there, Its me. Ill be doing this for everyone's character.

Im going to have to download DCU, not to play, but just to get the character creator software to take screenshots of characters. Is it Free to Play to a certian level?
(All this really should move ot the OOC discussion, but Ill clean up this thread when we start the game).

Petar "Pete" Macan
AKA - "Matrix"
Petar Macan was born in the late 1970's to Croatian immigrants. He was the kind of kid that never had many friends, mostly due to being far younger than the rest of his classmates. By his senior year in high school he had dropped out, at the ripe old age of 14.
By the time he was 20, Pete had launched two massively successful start up companies. While his intellect was off the charts as far as computers, mechanical devices, and electronics were concerned; financial matters were not his forte'. He made and lost more money than most people make in ten lifetimes thanks to greedy business partners and his single-minded focus on his research.
A few years into his 20's, tragedy struck Pete. His parents were killed in a head on collision. With no family or friends, the government stepped in and made Pete a deal he could not refuse. Rather than allow the young genius to be spirited away by some foreign power, they took him on as part of a new, top secret program.
Pete's first order of business was to completely rewrite the project's software systems to "an acceptable level", a task he insisted on completing before he would cooperate with any of the scientists. This was accomplished in nine days, much to the chagrin of the IT department.
The next time the world would see Pete Macan, it would be as Matrix.
Note - I originally had "Normal Identity, full round" as a 4 point disad to represent getting in and out of the suit, then I realized that it's not 100% accurate because he'd still have the mutant powers even when not suited up. Is there some way to represent that full round transform, maybe as a 2 point instead of a 4 point, or will it just be a role play kind of thing?

On the issue of what I was asking for above (sorry, totally slipped my mind to reply to that.. duh), I meant that in the book it says that you CAN put points into your costume in order to beef it up. So if there are leftover power points from tweaking and whatnot, I most likely will make a kick ass suit with said power points. Is there an equipment book by the way or is that all created on the fly?
