This week there is a film festival not far from me and I went and saw two Lovecraftian based movies. Well one of them I want to share with all of you because I think it gives you a good feel about the setting that could maybe be helpfull with the game.

The Whisperer in Darkness is a full lenght movie made by the Lovecraft Historical Society. Enjoy.

My armor is contempt. My shield is disgust. My sword is hatred. In the Emperor's name, let none survive.

When I now saw this Coppelius, the frightful and terrific thought took possession of my soul, that indeed no one but he could be the Sandman.

Didn't know it was out yet. Is it good? I loved their first film.

Yes it was very well made. You do have a much calmer pace in the movie then you are normally used to but it fits the move perfectly. Very well made.

HPL Historical Society's "Call of Cthulhu" silent movie is also excellent and highly recommended.

Yes! I've been waiting for this since it was announced!

Cannot be published soon enough. My money glows with the heat of 1000 suns in my pocket!

hppodcraft.com has talked about it. Looking forward to see it myself.

The story itself is one of the best from Lovecraft.

A friend of mine (who's a BGGer) and RPs on my PbP site did the score for both Call of Cthulhu and Whisper (and all the audiodramas that HPLHS have done), so that's pretty cool.

Anyway, I missed my chance to see Whisper at the festival in Calgary (I just couldn't get away to drive the 3-4 hours down and back just for the movie). Will be picking it up on DVD.
