Geeks have voted and the GeekBot-3000 Super Computer has produced the list of nominees for the 2011 RPG GoldenGeeks.

As we did last year, RPG Geek is proud to offer up a complete selection of microbadges to show support for the Game of the Year and for Best Podcast 2011 (the other two categories are for individual products... i.e. books and so we don't have a full set of micros for every book in our system).

If you want to showcase support for a particular game or podcast, just post below with a sentence or two for your endorsement and we'll send the appropriate free microbadge. Any others games or casts you wish to support you will have to buy

RPG: Game of the Year
mb Apocalypse World
mb Bulldogs! (FATE)
mb The Burning Wheel Gold
mb Deathwatch
mb Do: Pilgrims of the Flying Temple
mb Gamma World Roleplaying Game: A D&D Roleplaying Game
mb Happy Birthday, Robot!
mb Legend of the Five Rings (4th Edition)
mb Microscope

RPG: Best Artwork & Pres.
Ashen Stars
Bookhounds of London
Deathwatch
Do: Pilgrims of the Flying Temple
Gamma World Roleplaying Game
Happy Birthday, Robot!
The Inner Sea World Guide
Legend of the Five Rings 4th Edition RPG
Mouse Guard Roleplaying Game Box Set
Pathfinder Roleplaying Game GameMastery Guide

RPG: Best Supplement
The Armitage Files
Bookhounds of London
The Burning Wheel: Adventure Burner
Fiasco Companion
Gamma World Expansion Pack: Famine in Far-go
The Inner Sea World Guide
Neverwinter Campaign Setting
Pathfinder Roleplaying Game Advanced Player's Guide
Pathfinder Roleplaying Game Bestiary 2
We Be Goblins!

RPG: Best Podcast
mb Actual People, Actual Play
mb All Games Considered
mb Fear the Boot
mb Jennisodes
mb Narrative Control
mb Roll For Initiative
mb Theory From the Closet
mb This Just In...From Gen Con!
mb The Voice of the Revolution
mb The Walking Eye Podcast

And be sure to vote! The RPG Voting takes place at:

http://www.rpggeek.com/geekawards/rpg

I've been asked a couple of questions about the awards, so I'll attempt to answer them here:

Q: I'm the designer/producer/host of one of the nominated things. Can I still vote?
A: Yes, absolutely. So long as you qualify for the voting requirements (you have at least one year supporter badge OR you have an avatar OR a 20gg one-time fee... this is to keep obvious sign-up-shill votes out of the system. Contact me privately if this is a barrier for you and we'll figure something out!).

Q: How do I vote?
A: Assuming you meet the requirements listed in the last question, you can vote by signing into your Geek account and then going here.

Q: Can I advertise our nomination on our website?
A: Yes, of course! Please feel free to use the official 2011 logo and you can link back to this thread if you like.

I'm throwing my support behind Deathwatch. Deathwatch gives a good ruleset for playing as the feared Space Marines of the Imperium. And really, who doesn't want to be more kick-ass than Boba Fett?

I will go for the Legend of Five Rings. Solid rules and great, detailed and charming setting, filled with great east climate.

I'll stick a thumb up for Actual People, Actual Play, who made Leverage: The Roleplaying Game, The Shab Al-Hiri Roach and a number of other games sound both fun and feasible to play.

I already bought the This Just In...From Gen Con! badge (I was following the Microbadge request thread); I particularly enjoyed this year's lineup with hosts Daniel Perez and Rich Rodgers.

But if you are giving stuff away , I'd also take an Actual People, Actual Play microbadge. I love their format of describing their session and then discussing how it went.

Edit: Oh, and if anyone is interested in discussing the RPG awards, I put up a discussion thread here: 2011 RPG Golden Geek awards discussion and a Geeklist for the RPG of the Year here: 2011 RPG Game of the Year Nominees

I'll cast my lot for Legend of the Five Rings 4th Edition RPG - it's simply the most incredible and elaborate setting ever made. At least I assume it is, since I'm only allowed to read the first chapter from all the clan books and nothing else since we're still playing it. cry

Also: Kitsuki.

Microscope has proven to be the single most useful, rich and amazing rpg book I have bought in years. Everyone in our group who has played it- even people skeptical of the idea- loved it and wanted to play it again. It has proven to literally be a game-changer.

I'll take IPR's ''The Voice of the Revolution'' podcast badge please!

I have enjoyed all of the episodes. They have brought in my attention nearly every RPG that has ever been published and matters.

Awesome.

Matt, I am specifically not reading your We Be Goblins PbFs because I plan on joining a game of it at MACE this year. ^_^

However, I voted, but I don't really need another microbadge right now ^_^

Mouse Guard Roleplaying Game Box Set

RPG: Best Supplement

Bookhounds of London

RPG: Best Podcast

Sorry! Have to go for the German Podcast System Matters in this category

I am torn.

On the one hand, I love the concept behind Happy birthday Robot!, on the other hand, I bought Do: Pilgrims of the Flying Temple on looks alone, and have not been disappointed.

I'll leave it up to you, Dave!
