This came up on our first session. A PC fell unconscious and the rules say that a PC can use a healing power on him or the science skill.
How do you use the science skill in GW to heal someone? vs what DC? Would it be a better idea to use the 4e rules and simply substitute heal with science?

I took this from the GAMMA WORLD FAQ on the WotC site. No surprise, it is the very first question that came up in their FAQ.

How do you stabilize a dying character? It is a Science skill check (standard action, DC 15, similar to regular D&D, if desired). Also note that (per p.22) "If you are unable to take actions, another character can use a standard action to trigger your second wind."
There's lots and lots of great resources linked through the WotC site here.

In particular I found the Origin Cards very useful for character genertion and player reference.
