Check out this sweet mobile application that Tim Rodriguez made!
Fiasco Mobile
The above link goes to a cut-down demo of the application: the full application - it's a couple of bucks - contains playsets for all of the Bully Pulpit Games Playsets of the Month, and will be periodically updated to reflect new playsets coming from Bully Pulpit Games and fans.
I played Fiasco a couple of weeks back and since we only had the main book with us we just had the choice of the four playsets that ship with the book to play. With this app, we'd have had a bunch of playsets to choose from.

What type of phone is it an app for?

From what I can tell....
It's not really an app in the way the term is used now.
It's a website that is specifically tailored for mobile use. So ideally, it can be used on any smartphone, via javascript (assuming your phone can handle javascript within it's browser). The way god intended it to be before there was a market for 99 cent downloadable apps.
And really, you can't play fiasco with it beyond the "setting up the relationships" phase.
Otherwise, it seems pretty slick for what it does.
(of course I could be wrong on all these accounts)

Hiya
Yep, Scott's right on the money. Fiasco Mobile is a website tailored for mobile use. It works just fine on a regular browser too.
The demo website contains just a single playset. What you get for your bucks is access to a whole lot more playsets, starting with all of the official Bully Pulpit Games Playsets of the Month. The value add of Fiasco Mobile is that it gives you easy access to an on-demand, regularly updated wealth of playsets.
Fiasco Mobile does not ship with the Aftermath and Tilt tables, so you still need the Fiasco game itself in order to make use of the playsets. The plan is for Fiasco Mobile to be updated regularly with new playsets as they are released: if you've got the full app, you don't need to do anything because the new playsets will just appear in Fiasco Mobile's list of playsets.
There's also the opportunity for fan-created playsets to appear as part of Fiasco Mobile. If you're a playset designer and you'd like your playset(s) to appear in Fiasco Mobile, the designer, Tim, just needs your permission to distribute your playset in his application. Email him - his address in on the About page - and let him know about your playset.
Cheers Pete

Well yes, but you just need some people at the bus stop join in.

So, any chance we'll see some more playsets added? What needs to be done to do that? Can I help?

Hi Matt
The "plan" as I understand it is to update the application with Playsets Of The Month as they are released. This updating will be done dynamically and transparently, so folk who have chipped in their dosh for the application will just see the new playsets appear on an irregular basis. (As and when Tim gets around to it I guess.)
I'm not aware of any plans to incorporate non-Bully Pulpit Games playsets (i.e. fan playsets) into the application. Web-wise, the Fiasco Playset section of the Bully Pulpit Games Wiki has lots of playsets - both BPG- and fan-created - on it, so that's more the definitive aggregation of Fiasco playsets on the web.
I sent Tim the JSON for Camp Death a week or so ago, so hopefully that one should be appearing shortly. I'll fire an email his way and ask him about his release/update schedule.
Cheers Pete

This thread over on Story Games has the answer.
Steve Segedy wrote: If you are the author of an existing playset and would be willing to let us add it to the collection, we need you to 1) give us permission and 2) consider helping us by adding your work to the site yourself. If you're interested, contact us at info@bullypulpitgames.com.

New handful of playsets added and permission for more has been requested from other authors. If you know authors who are interested in their playsets being included, please put me in touch!

I haven't had any luck getting an account on the wiki thus far.
