Is there some sort of process for when a user deletes their account but has significant contributions (i.e. more than a half dozen contributions)? If so, I'd love to talk to them before the account is really removed to see if we can still host their contributions. I assume database entries (i.e. not images) remain (I've never seen a database entry removed when a user leaves) but I'd hate for any good content to go away. For one, it means I feel like the site has let the user down and that bugs me... but also the missing content sets us back.
I email any user with significant contributions that requests an account deletion. Part of that is to ask if the reason for leaving is a fault of the site, part is to make the person aware that contributions will be deleted, and part is to offer alternatives to deletion.
Most of the time they are thankful for the discussion, but still request that the account be deleted. In almost every case it isn't anything to do with us but rather because the person wants to reduce their online presence (for any of a number of possible reasons).
We're always going to honor the wishes of the user in these cases. It is a small setback, but I think those setbacks are worth it for giving users the knowledge that whatever they post here remains theirs.

I've moved the image from your user gallery to the RPG, and set it to be the representative image. Actually, that's the logo for Traveller (Mongoose), not Traveller (Classic). I'll upload and propose a better logo. Ah, cool; thanks. I've moved it back to Sam's gallery then.

I noticed that Valley Games' Titan image was deleted on Sept 5. Could that be related to the same problem?

So long as there is a consequence of them having removed all their data. In the case of a deleted user - it is removal of his account from the site - they no longer get to be part of the community they originally helped build and later decided to tear down. If a user wants to delete themselves and leave gaps in the posts or gaps in the images which were previously set by geekmod and admin help, that's fine. We'll recover without them. But when a user remains on the site, removes their content in an effort to be destructive to one or more domains and retains their geekgold, badges and privileges is where I have a problem. A big problem. I expect that the account will be cut-off from doing further damage to the site in the future. I'd rather wait a few extra days for a good user to upload content than have a user with an agenda remain in good standing while dicking with the database.

It appears that Matthew has seen fit to delete my post. He was warned once before - it's the reason I won't wear an Admin badge myself. With that warning, comes my promise. If anyone needs to reach me, do so via email.

Ok, I've uploaded the four items that were missing images that I have and three rpg logos.

It's weird that users can delete useful stuff. The terms of service say that when you upload something, BGG is perpetually licenced to use it.

I thought I'd help out and just tried to upload a new logo for Stormbringer (5th Edition). It got declined as "100% Duplicate" but I see no logo for SB 5th in the images.
The logo I uploaded was a crop from the front cover. Who is the current image admin for RPGG?

I've found it in the queue and got it back for you. I'll tip you the as I think the method I used won't have rewarded you.
Edit: It turned out to just be a timing issue. The approved image simply hadn't yet appeared against the RPG entry.

There a list of what is missing floating around? Time is a bit of a commodity I don't have in abundance, so any sort of "hey, we're missing XYZ" would be great.

Wow. I'm not sorry I started this thread to fix a problem on the site, but I sure am sorry at the sh*tstorm it started on RPGG. My apologies.
That said, I'm tired of reading all of the angry comments from everybody in other threads and I've decided the best way for ME to move forward is to continue to help out on the site and ignore it all. I hope y'all do the same. My personal opinions will not be stated to stoke more fires.
