I just had a quick read of the death scene again, and the killers are almost certainly ninja. I ignored this line of clues because since they are ninja they're unlikely to have anything on 'em that'll be clues.
Still, maybe Katsuro, who has dealt with ninja before (?) will be able to glean which ninja clan they are from, or something like that.
Clue-wise, Mifune's investigation of the horses only revealed that the horses were poor, of the kind used by merchants or worse.
Who hired the ninja?

Well, up to you then. I usually have a driving force in my PbFs, so I can push things forward if the players fail to. But there are no drivers left now, things took some unplanned turns.
So, it is all up to you.

I'm here, but only briefly. I started a new job in the new year, and the learning curve is still going strong. I've got a poxy Iron Review to smash out sometime tomorrow night, and I'm feeling the burn on that one. Let me get through the week and I'll post properly on Sunday afternoon. Posting a couple of times a week is what I can manage about now, game on!

Sounds good Pete. It looks like you, me and Stelio are spending most our time in new jobs. I guess the difference is that I mange to find some time on work to update the games I run.
