Hi,
I cannot seem to find my copy. I remember that the combat was something like, get cards and count hearts and modify with fanmail.
Can someone describe how combat works?

There's not really a combat system, just a system that determines how a scene resolves should a conflict come up. You determine who will participate in the conflict and what the stakes are. Then each side draws cards equal to current screen presence plus one for each appropriate trait plus they can send fan mail for extra.
If the producer is involved they spends budget to draw cards.
Red cards are successes.
Most successes wins, but the highest individual card shows who narrates the outcome.
