I've been having trouble uploading images to my personal gallery, for the past month or two. I enter My Gallery (under My Geek), click on "Upload Photos", then Select Files, and then Upload Photos, again. Under the status box, I can watch the red bar creep across my screen; showing it is doing something. However, when the red bar reaches the end, nothing happens. If I have multiple images, the next image never begins uploading. If I try a single image, it never states the upload is complete. Any assistance will be most welcome! Thank you in advance!
(I thought I'd post this here, as I'm inclined to believe the issue is some sort of bug. I could be wrong, though.)

(I thought I'd post this here, as I'm inclined to believe the issue is some sort of bug. I could be wrong, though.)
Are you using the Ajax Uploader?

Thanks! That fixed it, alright. I was trying to use the "Select Files" to upload multiple, but the Ajax Uploader actually works.

I'm having this problem. And no the Ajax Uploader is not working. Cleared history and cache as well, no luck. Using (Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.9.2.18) Gecko/20110614 Firefox/3.6.18)

Unfortunately, this appears to be a new kind of problem: I can't upload a photo to my personal gallery - is it just me or a temporary problem here?

There is a fix on the pipeline, I'm just doing some more tests to see if it doesn't break anything else.

Ok, I just pushed some code changes which should fix this problem. Again, sorry for breaking the image uploader. Also, I re-add the old yahoo uploader as a legacy uploader, if you are having problems with the main uploader you can try that one.

I have just tried to use the in-post image uploader (without going through the personal gallery), and it just hangs. It shows a progress bar which never fills up.
The (new) image uploader in my personal gallery worked fine.

I still can't upload images via the 'Upload New Geek Image' button. The progress bar is displayed in the pop-up window (gray outline only; never fills with red), but the Java script text in the lower-left corner of Chrome that always shows the upload % progress isn't displayed.

The legacy loader works for me but the regular one hasn't worked for me in months, irregardless of what browser I use or whether I'm on my PC or laptop.

I still can't seem to get the uploader or external image link to work. I get either a grey bar or a little blue box with a question mark. Also, I don't see an option for the Ajax Uploader...? I tried both Firefox and Safari (v5).

Just tried it again (see time stamp) and the legacy and regular loader do not work, but the "Ajax" single image one worked fine.

Now working for me in Chrome. I initially thought that it hadn't worked, but after a few seconds the completed red bar changed to the "Image Uploaded message.

The last time I tried was Saturday night and it was a no-go: the red bar reaches 100% and then nothing happens. I let it sit and think for ovemr 20 minutes with no luck. It's been acting that way consistently for the past months.

The last update was Sunday, so if you could check now it would be good.
Randy, can you give me a screenshot of the page on chrome for the legacy so I can see what might be it?

The workaround for me is to go directly to my Personal Gallery, where the images upload there in seconds.
I'm using Firefox v5.0

In support of your troubleshooting effort, image upload within a post via the "Upload New Geek Image" button still doesn't work for me.
