Yokiboy reminded me that I left the session reports for my MG campaign hanging last year. Looking back through my files for the game, I found the prelude to our final session (which chronicles the session before of course).
Since we ended the campaign, there was no prelude that recapped the finale. So, if I can remember enough of the details I'll post that one up later on. Until then, here you go!
This prelude was done by June (Eodwina).
Session Date: June 21st, 2010 Season: Late Spring Mice in Attendance:
Hafgan (as played by Chris)
Marren (as played by Jack)
Eodwina (as played by June) Mice in Absentia:
Abrahm (as absented by Mike Miller)
After spilling his guts, it is decided that Abrahm will escort Angus back to Lockhaven, there to debrief Gwendolyn on everything he knows. The remaining members of the patrol will stay to smoke out the spies. There are two major spy contacts in Darkwater: Sliver (aka Skunkboy) and Thurston (a rich merchant). We need to capture both of them or Viero (who is probably going after the fall harvests) will know we are on to him.
We decide to put the word out that Angus wants to talk to Sliver (over some goods stolen from him) in order to drive Sliver out of hiding and capture him later (with Angus’ son’s help).
We work on trying to track Thurston. Eodwina manages to find his ex-mistress and tries to get information out of her, which fails horribly – the distraught ladymouse becoming enraged at the very thought of her duplicitous lover. Luckily, Hafgan is able to cause a scene in a bar (pretending to be a merchant that Thurston cheated). A bat patron sympathetic to this reveals where Thurston was last seen – heading towards the docks to get the hell out of Darkwater.
The patrol approaches the pier where Thurston’s ship is tied up, with Eodwina sneaking in along the flank by hiding in the shadows of the quay. It looks like the crew is getting ready to cast off. Still playing the cheated merchant (with Marren quite comfortably acting as the law), Hafgan confronts the muscle at the end of the pier. When the fight starts, Eodwina comes out of hiding to fight with her fellow patrol mates.
We buckled our swashes… We swashed our buckles. Leaving a trail of bloodied, broken, and scared-pissless mercenaries behind us, we board Thurston’s ship. In a frenzied bout of swordplay, Marren disarms Thurston as the other members of the patrol manhandle the merchant’s hired thugs. We send him back to Lockhaven for questioning with another patrol.
Eodwina decides to show Jasper (a 2nd rate apiarist in Darkwater) that her time in the guard has matured her beyond her years and bygones should be bygones. However, the old fart can’t seem to get past his inadequacies and takes them out on her. Unwilling to listen to reason, he sends Eodwina away fuming mad.
Marren leads the team on the search for Sliver. Sliver has fled Darkwater and gone south, but the patrol soon picks up his trail. We find the skunk mouse within 4 days, coming upon him in the dead of night, taking him by surprise. We throw a bag over his head and drag his skunky butt back to Lockhaven.
Back in Darkwater, Hafgan searches the boat for incriminating evidence. In the cabin he finds a map of Dawnrock on the northern coast, showing tides, harbor depths, militia schedules, etc. Assignments, names of ships, - all elements of a plan for Viero’s upcoming raid during the Morten Harvest festival.
The patrol returns with all haste to Lockhaven to prepare for whatever may come next.

Thanks Mike, good stuff, even if I accidentally read the very last session report before this one. Perhaps I better subscribe to your postings on the Geek.
