I notice there's a lot of zombie options for Savage Worlds. I've been thinking of dling the War of the Dead pdfs, but before I do, I'd like to know your thoughts about running zombie survival horror scenarios with Savage Worlds. Which Savage Setting is best? How do they play?

I skimmed the War of the Dead books at my FLGS recently (not as closely as I'd like...browsing is very hard with a 2 year old) and was pretty interested by what I saw.
The thing about Savage Worlds and Zombies is that the possibilities are pretty much endless. You don't really need any other books outside of the core book to do a simple zombie game.
War of the Dead looks like a pretty cool adventure arc that seems to have good reviews.
Wrath of Zombie is a neat looking fan-made setting I found at Savage Heroes.
Both of the above are modern settings.
You could use Weird Wars: Weird War II to do Nazi Zombies.
What sort of period interests you?

War of the Dead is it's own setting. You won't need anything besides the Rulebook to run it.

I think it was a question of if War of the Dead was a good setting, or are there others that should be looked at out for a Zombie game.

I thought that at first too, then reading the thread title, I realized there are no other "zombie settings" (or even Survival Horror) for Savage Worlds in print/pdf that I am aware of.
Other games may have Zombies in them, but that is a VERY different thing. Heck, MOST of the settings ever published for Savage Worlds have Zombies in one form or another present.
So what is the question, again?
Edit: Also, one complaint I have about War of the Dead (print-version). The MSRP on the whole campaign is about 100$. There had to be a better way to do that.
Edit II: I realize I'm just kind of rambling ... feel free to ignore me and apologies if I sounded rude.

Zombapocalypse is another Savage Setting with zombies.
Savage Tales #4 Rise Alabama and Savage Tales #6 Zombie Run are also about zombies.

Savage Tales are adventures, not settings.
I can find nothing named "Zombapocalypse" for Savage Worlds here, on RPG.net, or on Google. Could you provide a link?
Are you confusing the D20 item with this system, or am I just overlooking it?

At least, I used to kill dragons. But then I took an arrow to the knee.

Zombapocalypse is from Silver Gryphon Games, the guys that do Wellstone City. It's not so much a setting as a setting enhancer.
War of the Dead is great. If you want to play a Walking Dead campaign, this is it.

I think that's what I wanted to know. Thanks! Only now,I've played AFMBE at free RPG day and it gets the gears rolling. A zombie themed universal system may trump a universal system with zombies for a zombie game.
Does War of the Dead maintain the lethality of good survival horror, or is it more action-pulp as is typical of Savage Worlds? Does it have a "gritty" setting, as does Realms of Cthulhu? Are we talking "Army of Darkness" or "Night of the Living Dead"?

That was hard to find, they don't even list it under their "Games" page for Savage Worlds ... you have to look in the "Store"!
