As described in the line - when you insert formatting (inserting a Geeklink, etc.), the link is 'off', the geeklink appearing several points before the cursor. The delta is 1 per carriage return. If on the first line, inserting a Geeklink is correct; after one newline (on the second line), any insertions are one character off; after two newlines, insertions are two characters off;
This happens in IE8 and IE9. I don't know if it happens anywhere else.

I believe this is an Internet Explorer problem. I usually use Firefox (no problems at all), but when I'm forced to use IE (as happens with some regularity) then I get the same issue.
