And if you never have, you should. These things are fun and fun is good.

Just looking for player miniatures, not ships. Would want 25mm, I'd say. What are the best ones out there?

You are only as old as you feel. How old is soft and squishy?

Try looking for Ground Zero Games's 25mm science fiction ranges. Stargrunt has lots of military types but there is a decent range of other stuff. Lacking are the Traveller specific aliens however. These miniatures really are 25mm and don't have all the silly adornments that are common from other manufacturers. They have quite a Traveller feel and the range includes civillians as well as military types.

The only link I've got to hand is a local supplier which probably isn't a huge amount of use half way around the world: http://eurekamin.com.au/index.php?cPath=204_207&sort=3a

Found the proper web page: http://www.groundzerogames.net/mambo/store1/commerce.cgi. Both the 25mm Stargrunt and the 25mm Street level miniatures.
