OK, I'm not even sure if this is a bug, but it's left me scratching my head. Yesterday I added a new RPG item to the database, the Carrion Crown Player's Guide. I had a look at it today, and saw it had already been added to a GeekList:
http://rpggeek.com/geeklist/33493/item/708118#item708118
Checking the GeekList, I saw the relevant post had been created over 2 years ago! Notably, the image ID of the rep. image has the same as the 'thing ID' of the RPG item. It's also a board game-only list.
Can anyone enlighten me as to what's gone on here?

The list consists of items with a certain user number linked to images with that user number. I think someone with a user number that did not have a "thing" associated to it managed to get a link to it even though it didn't exist yet (or, perhaps, the ID got recycled somehow).
I'm user 5884, so my entry would be Androids and Belt Bums coupled with .

Yeah, I don't know if the method of adding an item to a geeklist was different in the past, but I can't see a way to 'break' it like that now.
By the way, I'm user 4999. My 'thing' is Jet World and my image no longer exists.

Yes, this really is what I looked like when I uploaded that avatar. Not that it's quite current anymore.

It was. You entered all items by their database number, not by name. It did have a name lookup. It's much harder to do such lists, now.
