Totally unrelated to RPG'ing but I thought I would just tell it.
I'm carrying my copy of Cthulhu Invictus around so I can read it on silent moments. And this week the map that is included came in handy, not that it had anything to do with roleplaying at all.
I'm an archer, and this week at one of our meetings, there was an new face in the club. He's with the italian navy and he's following a course against seamines in our hometown. Since he was gone for months from his home he searched for a place to practise his sport and came to us. But hanging at the bar, learning to know him we were trying to determine where the hell he lived in Italie. Then the book came to mind, I took it out, unfolded the map and he could show us.
So you see, the book has other good uses to!
