I noticed that several people are asking for pictures of what come in the new Red-Box Starter Set. As I have one already opened, I figured I would post the pictures here for all to see.

These tokens are only very slightly thinner than regular dungeon tiles (less than 1/16th of an inch thinner).

Just an observation, the monster tokens are 80% maybe even 90% the same as the ones in the first 4e starter set.

Interesting - I didn't ever get the first starter set, so I didn't catch that.
I wish they would have done twice as many, but with bloodied ones on the back of non-minions. I understand why they didn't, but still.

Thx for the pics. Really appreciate it. Sad, that they are so small and i couldn´t blow them up to get in "touch" with them
The Tokens are not 80% the same as the first Starter Set. I own it and was looking forward to see, what wizard will come up in this new set.
So the Playercharactertokens are all new.
Also the shapeshifters, the bugabears (german it is Grottenschrat),
Dragonspawn? (can´t really see it),Goblin hexer, small slime, Lizardmen,
Basilisk (?), new spiders.
The 2x2 ones there is a new Zombie, and i guess a deadhorse to mount?
So i wouldnt say that they´re so samy
