Joe Mcdaldno made an attempt to convert Polaris to D&D 4th Edition. The blog is here

I am not really sure if I had to post this on the Polaris forums or at D&D forums or at the designer's forum, so feel free admins to move it.

Also it seems that today I celebrate my personal Joe Mcdonald day

I wonder if we can cross post across more than one RPG? Hmmm...

Anyway, interesting read. I've read Polaris and have really enjoyed the book - looking forward to playing (I'll probably run it straight-up without conversion).

That's really fascinating. I love the world of Polaris, so it's cool to see it making it to other mediums.

Though, as much as I like the world, I think I like the system more. It was also neat to see that Polaris system hacked into another setting. Like, it would be fun to see Polaris hacked into a more traditional fantasy setting ala D&D 4th Edition.
