The notes could be bad too.

Arneji says: Michaela Schelk has married and is now Michaela Kienle. Company name is Fine Tuning.
Maybe those 3 entries (Michaela Schelk, Michaela Kienle and Fine Tuning) should be combined?
...
fizzle says: (Kemal Zhang) is the same guy as Kemal Yun ... If you look at some of the games attributed to him (e.g. Gruftmeister Adventure) it even says "Kemal Yun" right on the box cover. Also see www.yungames.de

According to Charles E. Gannon's website:
http://charlesegannon.com/Twilight%20World%20Page.html
He used the pen name Karl Johnson for a Challenge article entitled Rifle River.
There is already a Karl Johnson over on the BGG side, but no where on Gannon's website does he take credit for this board game: Panzertruppen 1990. So I have to assume that this is NOT the same person, especially since he only used this pen name once, as he mentions.
I don't know how you can reconcile this, but I've submitted a correction to Charles E. Gannon's entry to add Karl Johnson as another name.

I made the alternate name Karl Johnson (II) I added your correction notes to the Charles E. Gannon entry

Same person.
Correct name is Jürgen Franke. all publications with Midgard etc are named under Jürgen E. Franke.
I guess this was made to differ between his science publication and his work as game designer.

for the items entries of both designer I would say it is the same person. As he is german I would guess that the -mann ending is the correct one, also it has more entries.
I added many issued in the last month, and one thing I found out is that the publisher didn't really care for the correct names - maybe this is the reason for that double entry.

Jon Williams
Walter Jon Williams
?
Looks the same to me.
The wiki entry ( http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Walter_Jon_Williams) states that he "has written both fiction and rulebooks for the games Privateers and Gentlemen from Fantasy Games Unlimited"
Jon Williams has one credit also from Fantasy Games Unlimited, another naval entry.

The illustrations are different as well so I think this is well outside the 98.3%

this may be uglier and has nothing to do with the Polish publication
there are three versions on the main entry The Shadow of Yesterday (Revised Edition)
the 2005 version looks different from the 2006/2007 print an PDF versions
which is revised and which is not (the image captions don't help) the Item also has Honors links for 2004
where is the 2004 version is it the 2005 version if the 2006/2007 versions are different, they should not be linked to a Item with honors
