Official (independent) magazine for Shadowrun (first and second editions). Thirteen (0-12) issues were published.
The name of this magazine is, apparently, Japanese for "shadow," and pronounced as "caw gay." It was the magazine of the Shadowrun Network, run by AWOL Productions of Columbia, MO, USA under license from FASA Corporation, between mid-1991 and early 1994, when AWOL apparently went, well, AWOL, and thus Ka*Ge ceased to exist. For this reason, if you see an advertisement for Ka*Ge in an old Shadowrun book, you don't need to bother responding to it.
Ka*Ge was a reasonably well-produced magazine, with the articles in the early issues apparently being written by the publishers, but in later issues more and more articles by Shadowrun Network members appeared. Quality of the articles varied, as is often the case with fan-based material, and thus there is some really good stuff to be found in Ka*Ge's pages, but some real crap as well.
