Family description by Zimeon, cribbed from his Monster Maker Resurrection review.

The Monster Maker Resurrection RPG (2002) is the second Monster Maker RPG, the first being "Monster Maker RPG Holy Axe" (1992) and the third "Monster Maker Legend" (2005). "Monster Maker" started out as a simple adventure card game in 1988 designed by the simulation game enthusiast Ginichiro Suzuki, born 1926, and illustrated by the signature Kugatsu-hime ("September Princess"). It was well received and had an immense number of spin offs, both card games and board games, most released between 1989 and 1991. The base of Monster Maker was to be not only a card game, but have named characters, and with each game, the story of the world sort of grew, until a lot of fans had a good grip on who Diane, Lufiea, Lorien, Gandawolf, Milliêne, Titina and the lot were. There were even electronic Monster Maker games. During the Monster Maker era in the late 80s and early 90s, Suzuki wrote Monster Maker novels and Kugatsu-hime drew the comic series "Monster Maker Saga" (Ascii publishing company) which further plotted out the story. The first RPG "Holy Axe" (the title comes from the event where the warrior Diane found the weapon in question) was created in 1992, written by both Ginichiro Suzuki and Takeshi Suzuki.
