Description Edit | History

7th Sea was the name of a roleplaying game and collectible card game published by Alderac Entertainment Group. The name was later changed to Swashbuckling Adventures.

7th Sea originally used the same "roll and keep" dice mechanic as AEG's Legend of the Five Rings. The name was changed to Swashbuckling Adventures when the core mechanic was brought in line with the d20 system, though books continued to be printed with "roll and keep" statistics alongside the d20 rules.
