Mikoláš Aleš (November 18, 1852 - July 10, 1913) was a Mirotice-born Czech artist and painter. He is probably best known for being one of the painters that redecorated the famous foyer of the Czech National Theatre. Aleš died in Prague in July 10, 1913.
