Wolfgang Hohlbein, a German and Fantasy and Horror writer, created pulp stories with the protagonist "Robert Craven, der Hexer von Salem" (the warlock of Salem), based losely on the Cthulhu Mythos of H.P. Lovecraft.

This Roleplay is kind of a pulp Call of Cthulhu, a standalone roleplay in the 1920s,

Rules are more or less the same as in Call of Cthulhu, but feature more hitpoints for pulpier play, and more magic for player characters.
