Fighting Fantasy Gamebooks

Fighting Fantasy is a series of single-player fantasy choose-your-own-adventure gamebooks.

The majority of the books were written by Steve Jackson (II) and/or Ian Livingstone (co-founders of Games Workshop Ltd.) but plenty of other writers have contributed to the series, including, confusingly, Steve Jackson (I). This is the full list:

The initial series was published between 1982 and 1985 by Puffin Books and contained 59 books. They were reissued between 2002 and 2007 by Wizard Books, although there were only 29 books in this series, and the numbering is not always consistent with the Puffin series. Wizard began a further re-issue in 2009 and again the numbering is inconsistent with previous series.

Books have been numbered dependent on their position in the series they were first published in—for most books, this will be the Puffin series.
