I have been gaming since I was 12 years old. In my 20 years of gaming, systems have come and gone. I've always been interested in trying every system I could get my hands on, and here I will attempt to list them out (in as chronological an order as I can remember).

After a 4 year hiatus, this is the game I played upon my return to Duluth. I discovered a FLGS, became friends with the owner, and immediately after 4E was released, he asked if I would be willing to run their in-store game if he would hook me up with books as they came out. I said yes. And that is how I met my current F2F group. This is also around the same time I discovered BGG.

I know, wrong order. This is a great game in its own right, but when I realized both me and all of my players loved it I knew I had to get the most recent edition.

And HERE is my first ever PbF game (which is still going. Thanks for introducing this game to me, Matt!). Matt's running of this campaign made me so fall in love with the system that when 2E came up on the chain of generosity I had to put in for it (also, I think that might be the first chain I ever one). After a while I switched from 2E back to this with my players (after ordering the books).

My friend (and one of my players) is a HUGE fan of Abney Park. He ordered this as soon as it came out and started running it. This is his first-ever GMing experience, and the campaign is still going. This also marks the first time since 2008 that I was a player and not a GM (the game came out towards the end of 2011).

My one and only true flop with my players. I love the system, I love the concept, I love everything about it. But for my players who are more into fighting and action, it was a bit complicated and slow-moving for them. However, I still have hopes.

I had to put this up here. This is my first multiple-sessions-simultaneously GM experience. It was fun and if RPGG gets another one going in the future, I'll definitely sign up to GM again.

And now we come to Pathfinder. I'd heard so many good things about it. I told my players that if we didn't end up playing Burning Wheel that my second campaign was going to be Pathfinder. That's what happened and none of us regret it. Even MistressGeek, who had her doubts (she played 4E once and wasn't a fan) loves it. In fact, she loves it so much she's a player in the PbF I just got going.

Ah Vaklam, how I truly never realized how great diceless roleplaying could be. I signed up for this because I saw a bunch of my RPGG friends were jumping on board and because I've always wanted to read the books. I am REALLY glad I signed up for this. Between this and M&M, I've had more fun playing in PbF campaigns than being a player in F2F campaigns!
