Evil Bob: Lawful good since 2038!

Two vaguely water-like ideas have led to today's punn-ishing title.
First up, it's the F-ing up the Geek Competition. My first table, playing the Transatlantic playset, are currently in the lead and in line to win a substantial amount of for our troubles. This is both good and bad.
The Good:
Marshall, who suggested the competition, is on my table and will thus share in the prizes
Barad, who is new to Fiasco, is also on my table and will also share in the prizes
Luke, who is a new user on RPGG, is also on my table and will thus share in the prizes.
I'm running low on at the moment and have some things in mind that need more.
We are F-in funny.
The Bad:
We only have 4 votes. That's enough to win right now.
I'm on the table and feel a little funny about winning something I'm running.
So make me feel better about it, Kids - go vote. You'll find a few summaries available to read in the link above if you haven't been following the games and you too could win some just by posting a comment.
Secondly, my Legend of the Five Rings (3rd Edition) campaign is feeling a little dead in the water and I'm worried that it's sunk (I did say vaguely water-like ideas...). Let me fill you in;
"The Many Paths of Heaven" is a campaign in which an elderly Imperial Cartographer is making a final trek around the Empire, escorted by a group of 'high potential, low realisation' Samurai from the various clans of Rokugan. In their journeys, they have discovered several parts of an ancient treasure, "The Twenty-One Truths of Osano-Wo".
Each session of the game thus far has been written as 'How would Author X tackle Rokugan?', where given values of Author X include H.P. Lovecraft and Neil Gaiman, among others. There has been some quite strong characterisation from the players (all ten of them) and I've had a ball with the game.
But then we had Kalinda, our second child.
Energy drained. Brain depleted. Unable to write cohesive sessions. Actually, I think that's mostly what I've been telling myself instead of getting down to business, but the point remains that it's been easier to play board games than organise the house to accomodate a day's roleplaying.
Now, I'm faced with a dilemma. It's been 9 months since I ran a session. Enthusiasm will have waned quite naturally in that time and I must decide - Resuscitate or Restart?
On the side of restarting, there's now Legend of the Five Rings (4th Edition), which is cool. There's also the fact that no-one would need to try and remember stuff. On the other hand, I have copious notes, session reports here and it isn't all that tough to link people back in and finish what we started, perhaps even with a couple of tidy retcons here and there to help people re-establish themselves.
Also on the side of continuing the old campaign; each character had a 3-song soundtrack already figured out and I wouldn't need to trawl thousands of music files looking for the right song...
I think I've just talked myself into continuing the old campaign; I really enjoy running for large groups, it combines my mad freeform writin' skillz and my teacher crowd-management talents in ways that tabletopping doesn't. A new edition is nice, but to be honest, roleplaying with me is about tossing a couple of dice and saying 'that sounds good' - I've never been one for copious rules (look for that as the subject of an upcoming blog post...).
Feel free to praise or sway my decision below, I love to hear other people's thoughts on my dramas...
